I met up with an old event partner and we decided to go to Ace's for a few drinks and catch up and hear the latest. It was a Giant's game day and I'm glad I arrived a little earlier to save us some seats.
They've got a pretty good happy hour but it only applies to well drinks and Bud cans. I was in the mood for a snakebite (regularly priced), which game in a 20 oz size. They used a non-Wyder's cider which was fine, and a single sip helped to whet my palate.
The bartenders here are pretty friendly and Ace's is a dog-friendly bar. That means they're welcome inside to enjoy the game with you and your buddies. Just be careful that they don't get stepped on because it can get kind of crowded in here. After 9pm, they ask that all dogs be out, but till then, have them in!
