A hidden-away cupcake shop is a strange place to have breakfast, but Babycakes turned out to be a pretty good location for a team meeting. Serving a variety of baked goods and breakfast items, we gathered the group on their back patio for our weekly pow-wow.

I decided to try their spinach and cheese croissant for breakfast. While relatively expensive, the little, stuffed, puff pastry was quite delicious and had just the right amount of seasoning. It was also obviously made in house. There was a ton of spinach in every bite and it was an excellent way to start the day.

While parking was a minor issue on a Sunday morning, the shop definitely made for an intimate location for getting things done. The location is not necessarily the most convenient place to get to but the scenery more than makes up for that. There's some great outdoor seating where your pooch can hang with you while you enjoy your day in the sun. I am definitely looking forward to coming back for some of their famous cupcakes!
