It started off as another overcast day in SF until the skies opened up and rained all over my parade. I was joining my girlfriend for lunch and I wanted to try something new, so I braved the 5 blocks of rain to get to South Park and we dipped into Caffe Cento.

Their menu is mostly run of the mill salads and sandwiches and prices are pretty high given the location. I got the chicken sandwich which came served with, well, nothing really. It was just ok for me, and my girlfriend's soup was on the watery side.

Caffe Centro was very meh for me but is very popular with the local tech workers. I much prefer the offerings at HRD for every reason and will be going there instead from now on. Luckily Centro has some tables outside for your dog but they're not allowed inside. Tie them to the nearest tree before rejoining them with your lunch!
