The Best Chinese Food I'd ever have. The Mongolian Beef & the honey walnut shrimp you much have!
I was meeting up with my buddy in Mountain View for some lunch before a big event in the evening and we wanted to try something new. We knew we wanted Chinese and had heard good things about Chef Xiu's lunch special. It's sort of a hole-in-the-wall so it's easy to miss from the street.
I ordered the beef chow fun which I thought was on the lunch special menu but found out later that it was not, so I didn't get a salad, only some hot and sour soup. The soup was nice comfort food for a day like this and perfect right after my workout. The beef chow fun was over-sauced but had welcomed spice you usually don't find.
The service was so-so but at least they had a couple of dog-friendly tables outside. For the price, the food wasn't too shabby and I like that the lunch specials are a fairly complete meal. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some of their other dishes in the future.
