Cold Stone Creamery

I come to this plaza all the time and have never been inside of Cold Stone. I usually don't treat myself to such confections, but when the invitation to join some of my housemates for dessert arose, I was eager to hang with the gang.

There are tons of choices and I had a difficult time deciding. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and I decided to go sick with some of their "Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip" concoction. It's basically mint ice cream with chocolate chips, fudge, and brownies mixed in. I had decided to go sick and order their largest, "gotta have it" size, which weighed in at nearly $6. This was definitely not a cheap treat. It was very rich and tasty and was entirely too much of a good thing, forcing me to take the rest home with me.

My friends and I ate our treats at one of the many tables in the courtyard and it's a really nice place to be with your dog during the day. In the evening however, it gets quite chilly and my ice cream didn't help. This is only the second time I'd ever gone to Cold Stone. I had a pretty bad taste in my mouth after the first visit since it cost nearly $10 for my dessert, including the tip that got the crew behind the counter singing. While totally novel, I can't really see myself coming that often, especially since I'm on somewhat of a diet and I can literally get 2 gallons of ice cream for the price of a single cup here.
