For as long as I've lived in San Diego, I had never seen such a beautiful view of the city as I did from the Coronado Ferry Landing at the Old Ferry Shopping Center. Your leashed dogs are welcome to walk around with you and Coronado is a very dog-friendly town to begin with. It's sort of touristy, but the views are undeniable. The shops and eateries are questionable and overpriced so I'd skip those, snap a few photos, and find a proper restaurant!
