Crepevine

It seems harder than it is to find a consistent and reasonably priced meal in Palo Alto, but Crepevine delivers with some decent eats. I usually pass on the crepes, but their pastas are definitely appealing to me. It was a lovely day so my girlfriend and I decided to stop in for a quick bite.

I ordered the Bari pasta because it’s a great deal and comes with salmon. The portion size was huge and I had difficulty finishing the well cooked pasta. My girlfriend’s seared tuna Caesar salad was enormous and she couldn’t even finish it. The tuna was well seared and of decent quality too.

This location has a bunch of seating outside so you can dine with your dog. In fact, on such a hot summer day there happened to be quite a few people outside with their pups. Service was ok but a little spotty, and I found myself refilling my own water one moment, and somebody else doing it another. It certainly makes it difficult to leave a good tip to be honest. Are you supposed to tip at these kinds of places? Overall, it was a decent meal.
