Dynamo Donuts and Coffee

OMG a place like this exists in the city?! Gourmet donuts plus awesome vibe = GENIUS! Their most popular flavor is maple glazed bacon apple; but really, all of the flavors sound amazing. The staff is super helpful and patient with the hordes of people who take way too long to decide what flavors to get (self included).

The best part about Dynamo is how friendly it is, to everyone -- adults, kids, dogs, families, trendy peeps, foodies, hippies... It really feels like a neighborhood place. The walk-up window is great for people with dogs and kids who just want to grab and go during their morning walk. Don't forget to get a doggy donut for your pup from the cookie jar on the counter! There is tons of seating inside too, as well as a patio out back. They have an open kitchen so, if you have some time, it's fun to watch them churn out their dreamy, delectable donuts.

I needed to grab some donuts for the Pupcrawl and Dynamo was the obvious choice.  They've got a window outside to order from and the line gets pretty long quite quickly.  There's a line inside that is less busy and the dog-friendly patio out back is a great place to bring your pooch while enjoying your treat and some good coffee.

We ordered 15 donuts of varying tastes including the salted caramel, bacon, pistachio, strawberry Earl Grey, and chocolate.  Believe it or not they've even got special doggy donuts too!  Prices range from $1-3 per donut which is a little pricey but totally worth it.  Come early because the line gets pretty long and take a few togo!  They're not only worth the money, but the calories too!
