Food Truck Crush

I LOVE this idea. What a cool, family-friendly, pet-friendly thing to do on a Friday night. There is a wide variety of eats, from Peruvian to Indian to BBQ to dessert. There's also a DJ who plays everything from Justin Bieber to Frank Sinatra, and an area set up with canopies, tables and chairs. Lots of dogs, kiddos, and people ferrying back in from SF.

Looks like they have a different lineup weekly. So far my favorites have been the lemon cream puff from Pacific Puffs (why are cream puffs so hard to find?!) and mac and cheese from The Rib Whip.

There's nothing better than ending the long work week by getting off the ferry and into the open arms of tasty food trucks. There are 6-7 that line up every Friday afternoon to greet weary travelers with dinner. I tried the Indian truck as well as the cream puff truck and overall, enjoyed the bites. Prices are generally less than $10 for each item and you can get several different things to try. I think this is a great idea and it's a nice way to wind down vs the sprint people are usually making to get to their cars. It's outdoors and dog-friendly so come on out with your family and enjoy a nice meal!
