I was meeting up with my pal in the Mission to catch up and arrived in the area a bit early. In need of somewhere to camp till lunch, I navigated over to Four Barrel Coffee. They’re known for their delicious and, as it turns out, pretty strong coffee. Another thing that I wish I had know earlier however is that they don’t have WiFi.
I ordered a simple latte and it doesn’t appear that they offer any syrups for flavor. However, it’s really unneeded because the coffee itself has so much flavor. I’m not a connoisseur, but even I could drink this stuff unsweetened.
There is a public parklet that is open to anybody so you can enjoy your Four Barrel Coffee outside with your dog. It was a fairly wet day in the city so the seats were empty this time but I can imagine them being quite busy on most days. Prices are pretty much on par with coffee in the area and my latte was $3.75. The shop is abuzz all-day, everyday and so it can get pretty loud normally. If you want a quiet place to read, this probably isn’t for you. But if you just want to grab and go, you’ve come to the right place.
