Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel

The Hilton Hotel in the Gaslamp was the scene of the 3rd Annual Gaslamp Pet Parade and people were coming out in full force on the beautiful day. The park itself is nice and open but I don't think it's leash free since the train runs right next to it. There's a doggy 'oasis' that cycles water but tends to overflow and completely soak the area around it. I heard that several dogs got sick from it as well and I'd never let my dog drink from it.

The hotel itself is pet-friendly and allow large pets up to 75 lbs with a fixed $50 fee. Seeing as though they've got the super pet-friendly Gaslamp just a stones throw away, this is a great hotel to stay at if you're traveling with your pets.
