Driving back late to Marin on an empty stomach, I needed some hot vittles to ease my hunger pangs. I debated on whether to go to Jack in the Box when I remembered the In-N-Out on the way home. Thinking fast, I pulled right off the highway and made a beeline to get there before closing time.
The double-double animal style is my choice just about every time I come to an In-N-Out, which was recently unseated as SoCal's favorite burger. I recently got to try #1, Five Guys, and truth be told, they've got nothing on In-N-Out. The double-double still rules in my book!
Marinites can be kinda fussy about stuff sometimes and successfully vetoed a drive-thru at this location. It's also the first In-N-Out I've seen with a security guard so I guess this one gets kind of hairy sometimes. Nevertheless, I still think In-N-Out kicks Five Guys' ass and for the price of 1 Five Guys burger I can get 2-3 In-N-Out ones. There is no contest here, the double-double rules! The new outdoor tables come in handy for when you happen to have your dog dining with you too. Gogogo!
