In-N-Out Burger

Between films at the San Diego Asian Film Festival, my friends and I had a hankering for a quick and tasty meal, and In-N-Out immediately came to mind. When we arrived, we were a little discouraged by the perpetually long line, but knowing of their legendarily fast fulfillment times, that anxiety quickly faded away. We sat one person down at an available, dog-friendly, outdoor table to camp the spot for the rest of us and braved the line with the rest of the hungry souls.

I ordered my usual Double-Double meal "animal style". The combination of the secret sauce (let's face it, it's Thousand Island dressing) and grilled onions is amazing and makes my mouth water just thinking about it. In the fast food category, there really is nothing that comes close at any price. There's also something about the fries that are awesome too. I'm guessing it's the oil they use to fry them, but those as always excellent as well.

When I have a craving for a great burger at any time in the day, there's always an In-N-Out nearby to satiate me. While I'm told that the east coast has a few options that come close, nothing can ever touch the incredible Double-Double. It's just not happening.
