Jamba Juice

It was a beautiful Saturday in San Mateo and I wanted something refreshing to drink with my Japanese brunch. Naturally, Jamba Juice came to mind (wha??). My buddy and I dropped in to take advantage of the 2 for $5 deal they had going on.

We both ordered the acai antioxidant smoothies since it sounded pretty good. Unfortunately they took forever and a day to receive because either the line was backed up, the were understaffed, or there simply wasn't much of a sense of urgency or something, but everybody had a long wait. Once we received them, they were a bit on the icy side and not that smooth at all. A little disappointing to say the least.

It definitely took a lot longer to get our orders at this location and outdoor seating is shared with Starbucks next door. Dogs are welcome at those tables however, so spoil them with a walk as you spoil yourself with a smoothie. Just don't be in any kind of a hurry because it's going to take a while to make.
