There aren't many lunch choices near my office and I've tried pretty much all of them. My boss and I wanted to get a decent sandwich and heard good things about Le Boulanger, which was just around the corner. Short lunches are kinda lame but we managed to save precious minutes since it was so nearby.
I got the California Fresh on Dutch crunch roll, which was served with a pickle half and bag of chips. Turkey, cheese, avo, and fresh veggies made up the bulk of the sandwich which was very refreshing. I especially enjoyed the bread, and not enough places serve the crusty stuff. My only issue was with the price which was a little over $8, and I wish they had better combos than they do.
Service is kind of mediocre and you have to pick up your food at the counter. I didn't really get much in the way of recommendations when I asked either. It wouldn't be my first choice for lunch in the future and would probably defer to Gombei or Panera from now on. They've got a cute patio outside with a bunch of tables, and your dog can hang outside with you. It's a pretty solid sandwich overall, but just an OK value.
