The hike that I have hiked with the dog that I am master to was fun because it was with friends! But WAIT! I do not have friends because I am MOJO JOJO! Instead, I have come on this hike with myself and my dog who I am master of, without my friends, with no one but myself and my dog, alone, with myself.
I needed to clear my mind and gather my thoughts and I couldn't think of a better place to do that then hiking Mt. Tam. I always enjoyed the drive up the mountain and that turned out to be pretty therapeutic too. I wanted to reach the east peak so I parked by the fire station and hiked up one of the dog-friendly paths. I hiked around for two hours and couldn't find my way to the peak, but did find some cool waterfalls before turning around. The views were amazing and I had to take it all in. It's a great drive and a fun hike, and ended up being a great reprieve from burning the candle at both ends of work and life.
CURSES!
