The lobster bisque was so delicious at O'Bistro that the next time I go there, I'll make this my main course. It was creamy, buttery, and came with a plate of lightly toasted baguettes. This restaurant has a dog friendly patio and a huge bowl of water by the entrance for your pets. The entrance is a little tucked away, but was not hard to find.
I ordered a calamari sandwich and it was pretty good. The portions are huge and everything was very filling. I only managed to finish half my sandwich, but I blame that on the rich lobster bisque I gobbled down. I was told a house magician had visited the table to entertain but unfortunately I missed the show.
The service was great, however, I did notice that since we were tucked into a dark corner, the waiter did not make his rounds as often as I would have liked. Our water glasses remained empty towards the end of the meal. This restaurant is also located close to a bar, and I had a rather scary encounter with a drunk individual on my way to O'Bistro. Be careful if you are traveling alone!
Overall, I would definitely return to and recommend this restaurant. I'm dying for more bisque and there's so much more I'd like to try on the menu. Bring your pet with you! There is plenty to do during the day time and a dog beach close by.
This is definitely one of those homey-type places. I bet they have tons of regulars. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming to both human patrons and dogs. Most of the seating is outdoors on the covered patio. And it's actually super comfortable, with cushioned chairs and love seats. They've got an eclectic menu and it was honestly hard to decide between all the sushi, sandwiches, pasta and pizzas - everything sounded pretty delicious and even a bit upscale for OB (though prices were quite reasonable).
I shared the lobster bisque, meatloaf with jalapeno gravy, and pasta with salmon and caviar. And yes, the pasta really had caviar on it, on a dollop of creme fraiche. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting caviar at a dog-friendly cafe in OB. The meatloaf was excellent - none of that dry tasteless loaf with ketchup business. If you are not super hungry, share a bowl of lobster bisque with someone and you'll be gravy. It's like a meal in itself. They also had a cocktail menu that looked pretty fun.
A shout-out to the magician. The potato trick still boggles my mind.
Was invited here to join a few friends. Entrance was tucked away inside the parking lot but wasn't difficult to find. Right at the entrance was a bowl of water and snacks for the furry friends. Staff there was excellent. They were friendly, energetic, and genuinely seem to care about you and your pets. There was a magician walking around to entertain us while we waiting for our food too (supposedly only there on Friday but some of the tricks were quite entertaining).
I enjoyed the food a lot. The lobster bisque was delicious. I had the meatloaf and the portion was large and it tasted good too. The place though isn't very large and probably isn't for larger parties.
Overall, It's a nice cozy place to hang out with your friends and pets. The food is good, price is affordable and the people there are great.
My lady friend and I decided to share a bowl of the lobster bisque which was so rich and deliciously creamy that it was practically a meal in itself. In fact, it was so popular that literally everybody at the table had to order it and it's easy to see, and taste, why it's one of their most popular dishes. For our entrees, we decided to share the meatloaf with jalapeno gravy and the fettuccine in dill cream sauce with smoked salmon and caviar. Again, two more super rich dishes (did I mention there was caviar in the pasta?!) that totally satisfied my palette for decadent foods. The meatloaf had great flavor and the jalapeno gravy was a very spicy and unique flavor against the savory backdrop of the homemade loaf of meat. The caviar was a total surprise and added the perfect amount of saltiness to the pasta.
The food was excellent and the service was extremely friendly. One unexpected, but pleasant, surprise was the arrival of the house magician who performs every Friday night. I've never seen a magician at restaurant before but this guy was good, like really good. Seriously, I had my eye on him the whole time and he still managed to bewilder us all with his sleights of hand. While it may seem a bit out of place, we were totally entertained by him while waiting for our food. O'Bistro often hosts pet events and their patio is a great place for dining with your pooch. I had a great time at O'Bistro and highly recommend the food. The dishes were on the heavy side but that's exactly how I like them. They've got a bunch of sandwiches and sushi rolls that seemed on the lighter side. I'm really looking forward to going back to try some of their new specials and get another bowl of bisque!
