Panera Bread

I was working from SoMa super early in the morning and needed a familiar place to get some breakfast and work done at. Panera has never let me down (except with relatively slow WiFi) and I happened to really want one of their cinnamon crunch bagels.

Which is exactly what I ordered, toasted! With a dab of butter, it’s basically like a breakfast dessert. Oxymoron if there ever was one and I know I’m being quite bad by getting that. It was going to be a long day and it was the best way I knew to start it. Delish!

As a place to come with your dog, it’s just alright. There are several tables outside that you can tie your dog up at while you order your meal. It tends to be a pretty highly trafficked area so anxiety can be a problem with smaller dogs. Service wasn’t as warm as I’d expect from Panera, especially so early in the morning. There is room for improvement for sure, but still a decent place to grab a snack and rest your feet.

While I love Panera's food, I'm reviewing this with a poodle mom hat on so I can only give 3 stars at most. Seating is right on the sidewalk for 2 people. You must tie up your dog outside when you go inside to order. That's fine for big dogs but I can't see a toy poodle from inside. We only come here when I'm with my hubby or a friend. Too much anxiety otherwise.
