Serving up nightly karaoke, Silver Cloud is one of San Francisco's most entertaining dive bars. There's nothing more hilarious than watching people make complete fools of themselves as they belt out their favorite shower song in front of a crowd.

I decided to munch on some fried calamari to fill my stomach before a long night of partying ahead at Infusion Lounge. The calamari was well seasoned and nicely fried, but the crispy crust annoyingly tended to crumble off of the slippery seafood when I tried to dip it into the tartar sauce. Annoying as it was, it really went far toward providing a barrier to the impending alcohol that would follow at the next party place.

I've been coming to the Cloud for years and always have a great time. Cheap drinks, good service, and hilarious karaoke performances add to the charm of this 3 decades old bar. Though sometimes it can get crowded and people can get rowdy, Silver Clouds is always making sure that your drinks are full [and stiff] and that everybody is having a great time. As long as they keep it up, I'll be coming back! If you come during lunch or dinner there are tables outside where your dog can join you for some surf and turf, but it's probably a better idea to bring a date instead.
