After pulling an all-nighter at the Hacker Dojo the night before, I needed a lot of caffeine in me if I had any hope of making it through the day. Half asleep, I drove down to Foster City to meet up with my buddy but stopped in for a shot to fire me up.
I ordered a latte this morning and realized that it's kind of a boring drink without all the holiday goodies in it. It had a nice punch that helped in the alertness department but otherwise fell short for me.
My favorite part about this Starbucks is the dog-friendly outdoor seating and all of the dogs that were hanging out with their owners outside. My least favorite part was the skinny barista dude with the attitude. When he called my drink, he pretty much just dropped the latte on the counter without even saying anything, like I was inconveniencing him. This location is also kind of dirty as well and there were almost no outlets for laptop users like me could plug into. Meh at best.
