Starbucks Coffee

After leaving one meeting, I had a few hours to burn before running to the next one so I decided to camp out at Starbucks and enjoy something hot to drink in the meantime. This particular location is nice because it doesn't seem to attract the pyramid scheme weirdos who seem to congregate at the location by the theater and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

In my pursuit to limit my caffeine intake, I decided to try the decaf Caramel Macchiato. Despite being decaffeinated, I definitely experienced a solid buzz. I probably shouldn't have gone with the huge venti size and it will likely keep me up all night. While the drink was pretty tasty, the copious amount of caramel made it a little too sweet for me. I'll probably go with tea next time.

I really like that this Starbucks doesn't require you to arrive in a parka to enjoy and it's also got a little patio where you can chill with your dog while sipping your favorite brew. The noise level is a bit higher and outdoor seating is limited too, but at least there is a nice little gathering area inside with comfortable seating and a fair number of outlets. It may be a bit cozier than the Starbucks by the I-15 but considering that this one isn't a freezer, I definitely prefer it. It also gets a lot more sun!
