Tapioca Express

After dinner, my buddy and I still had some time to kill before heading to a startup's holiday party. We weren't sure where to go so we opted for some familiar boba milk tea at Tap Ex.

I ordered a small almond milk tea with boba, coming out to over $3. The tea was fine but the boba was really mushy, like too mushy. We should have definitely gone down the street for milk tea instead.

They've got some dog-friendly tables outside but nobody would be putting them to use on such a rainy evening. This location is extremely dirty and reminded me of a Berkeley cafe instead of the normally clean places along Castro Street. Definitely won't be coming back here. Yuck!
