My buddy had been raving about how Tea Era was his go to place in Mountain View so you know I had to give it a try. We had been doing some credit card roulette and I was on fire and luckily managed to win yet again.

I ordered the almond milk tea with boba to compare it with some of the others I've had. Unfortunately, the folks at Tea Era don't really seem to care about the quality of their drinks and I was left with a mouthful of undissolved, chalky powder. It was actually kind of gross and I was not impressed.

It may have been close to closing time but the drinks and service at Tea Era were a pretty big letdown. Every sip came up powdery I was this close to tossing it. They have some nice outdoor seating where your dog is welcome but I'm definitely skipping this one next time.
