Of all of the tapioca tea places in the Clairemont area, Tea N More seems the most differentiated. Offering more than just the normal fare, books, vending, and other homely offerings make this place a welcoming escape from ordinary options like Tapioca Express, and their parking is better too. They even offer some tables outside and an open grass area where your dog can play. Just be careful the little guy doesn't run out into the street!

For this review, I decided to order the almond milk tea with boba to use as my yardstick. I really enjoyed the subtle and silky flavors of their version of this popular flavor. I'm not sure if the use a liquid or powder mix to make their almond milk tea, but it was nice not having to sip through chunks of powder like at Tea Station. The boba also had the proper texture and taste, and provided just the right amount of chewy and firmness.

Though I don't often find myself making Tea N More my first stop when I crave boba, it's definitely one of the better and more hip spots to kick back and sip some tea. Definitely give this hot spot a try but bring your wallet, because as boba goes this place is not exactly the most affordable.
