It's really no surprise to me that Starbucks dominates the coffee market over players like Coffee Bean and Peet's. It really is all about the experience. In particular, this location is slow, unorganized, noisy, and they make it a pain in the butt to find the WiFi code which is limited to 2 hours.

Their drinks are pretty good though. I ordered the hazelnut blended drink, which in all its simplicity, tastes better than much of the Starbucks equivalents. That's about where the raving stops though and if it weren't for receiving a large giftcard, I'd probably be at a different coffee house right now.

They do have dog-friendly outdoor tables (dogs aren't allowed inside of course) and the sounds of the busy city outside contribute to making it a great place to people watch, but it's a bit out of the way for me. Once my gift card is used up, I will probably abstain from Coffee Bean.
