After a business meeting in La Jolla, I desperately needed a place to rest my dogs (feet) and stumbled upon a great place for resting your dogs (4 feet). The Living Room presented itself as a good place to GTD so I ordered up a drink and whipped out the lappy.
I went with their strawberry and banana smoothie, which I found to be pretty tasty and had the sort of tang that you might find with sweetened strawberry topping versus the fresh version. I thought it would actually ruin the smoothie at first but then quickly realized that I kind of liked that flavor with the banana.
As a place to work, I found that there was a good amount of space and tons of outlets to plug into. There were more fruit flies than I really cared to swat at but overall it was a decent place to work from. They've got a couple dog-friendly tables outside as well, but it's kind of cramped out there. Too bad parking can either be a pain in the butt or expensive, otherwise I would definitely visit more often.
