I so enjoyed my trip to The Mission last weekend that I had to come back again today for more of their famous breakfast fare. This East Village location was beautiful, and looked like an old school admin building converted into a restaurant, but was in an area that was quite a bit shadier than the North Park one. However, that wasn't enough to stop me from giving it a try. There is also a sweet patio to boot and your dog is welcome to join you at the table. I did see a lady bring her Chihuahua into the restaurant, but I'm sure she was later seated outside.

My friend and I decided to split the Mission French toast and the breakfast croissant. We even ordered a side of their scrambled eggs and potatoes cause they rock! The French toast was as sweet and light as I remember from last week but this time I got to enjoy a whole lot more of it. There were eggs, peppers, and cheese sandwiched in the croissant and was extremely fresh and vibrant and pleasure to eat. I just wish there was more of it. The fresh fruit plate was very refreshing too and it was nice to finish off the meal with some berries.

If it isn't already clear that I dig The Mission, then I don't know what to tell ya. The French toast is simply to die for! If I had to choose a great place for some brunch, it would have to be The Mission. If I needed to choose a location, I'd probably go with North Park. It's just a heck of a lot closer. However, I've got to complete the trifecta so it looks like my next stop is going to be the Mission Beach branch!
