My buddy and I were wandering around Palo Alto for the day and cruised into the Prolific Oven seeking sustenance, free WiFi, and power outlets. Luckily, they had a bit of all three and we found a nice big table to camp out at.

I ordered a hot chocolate so that I wouldn't get overly buzzed for the evening's event. Some how the lady was able to whip it up in about 2 seconds which is a record for me. Then I realized we came in to avoid the heat too and instantly regret my purchase. However, it tasted pretty good and my buddy's cookie was delish too.

The service was pretty good here and they had several dog-friendly tables outside. In the afternoon it's on the shady side of the street and generally a nice place to hang out. I'll be back for a slice of cake!
