I like this mall because I can bring my dog in here and nobody fusses at me. She comes into stores with me while I shop all the time. The mall provides poop bags and there are patches of grass for the dogs to go potty on. The food court prohibits pets and stores that don't want them will have a sign. There are lots of friendly little dogs here too. I even brought my cat here for a walk once!
Almost all of San Diego's malls are open air so it's nice that UTC is pet-friendly. While you can't bring your dog into the food court, there are a bunch of places outside to eat where your dog can join you. There's even convenient patches of grass where they can play and even poop, and the mall is kind enough to provide little trash bags for you to use to clean up.
Not all of the shops themselves let you bring bowser in but unless I see a sign that says otherwise, I'm assuming it's OK. This is a pretty nice mall to bring your dog to but isn't very big. I don't see many large dogs here and most people have those little toy dogs around La Jolla anyway. Seeing as it's completely open, it's a great place to spend the day with your pooch, no matter how big they are.
Nice outdoor mall you can bring your dog to. It seems like most stores tolerate dogs in them, although there are signs which prohibit dogs from some stores.
They have patches of grass with poop bags there too.
