Woodlands Pet Food & Treats

My baby Jasmine is about 16 years old and is ready to go. I wanted to give her something really special to munch on and that she might really enjoy before she left us. I had seen Woodland Pet Food when I was at Peet's last week and they're known for their large selection of gourmet and organic foods and knew there'd be something good for my baby in there.

I picked up some chicken flavored treats and a can of the senior formula pate food for her. While I expected the price to be on the higher side (since this was Marin afterall), I didn't expect it to be nearly $11 for the two items that would probably have been half that anywhere else. However, under the circumstances I figured that the expense would be worth the perceived higher quality and bit the bullet.

Service here was lukewarm and apathetic at best. The staff only had about half the answers to my questions about senior food and treats and I wasn't even offered a bag nor a thank you on the way out. Perhaps the pickin's are thin for pet food around here or it was just an off day, but for the prices I paid for this stuff, I'd definitely expect at least a smile. I didn't receive any of those things here. Not a very warm experience at all.
