My cousin was getting married and she wanted to get both sides of the family together at the dinner table. Their apartment was a little too small to accommodate everybody so we walked down the street to Zazie for a lovely evening.

The menu was prix fixe and we started off the evening with some red and white wine, and sparkling lemonade, along with some fresh rolls. The appetizers consisted of pate on bread with salad and steamed mussels in a white wine sauce. The pate was great of course and the white wine sauce was awesome with the mussels. I ordered the chicken with fresh fettuccine and bacon sauce. The chicken was unbelievably tender and fell of the bone. However, the rest of the dish was a little bland to be honest. I opted for the peach cobbler for dessert with fresh cream which was incredible and was my favorite course.

Service was pretty good and we always had plenty of wine, perhaps too much. The company was amazing and it was a fun evening for all. The back patio is lovely in the evening and I'm excited to go back to try their regular menu with my girlfriend sometime. They've even got a few dog-friendly seats outside when the weather is nice and your pup is in tow. Definitely worth checking out!
